Finding your dream wedding dress
Even if you don't have a limited budget for your wedding, it still may be difficult to find the perfect dress. For those on a tight budget, searching for the perfect wedding gown at a low cost can be even more stressful. Planning ahead and doing your research can save you a lot of headaches.
Start shopping as soon as possible. The more time you have before your wedding day, the more time you have to shop around and find the best deals. You donít have to buy the first dress you see, or even one at the first store you shop at. Try on as many dresses as possible at several stores to get an idea of what you want.
When searching for your dress, think of the overall theme of your wedding. A casual wedding outdoors in the middle of summer may warrant a completely different dress than a black-tie event at the finest country club in town. Heavy gowns may be inappropriate for outdoor weddings in hot weather.
If you find the perfect dress but you canít afford it, find a talented seamstress who may be able to put together a dress similar to your dream gown at a lower cost. You can also go to discount bridal stores and find a comparable dress at a more economical price. You can add detailed touches, such as beading and lace, to make it your own.
